Deal: The Huawei Mate 20 Pro, Play Store and all, is only $470 on Amazon
If you’ve been curious about the hype around Huawei’s handsets, this might be the perfect time to pick one up. The latest deal from Amazon brings the price of last year’s Mate 20 Pro to just $470, less than half the initial price. And yes, you can still use the Play Store, Gmail, and all the other Google services.

The Mate 20 Pro is approaching two years old at this point, but its hardware is anything but dated. There’s the huge 1440p curved AMOLED display, a beefy 4200-mAh battery with 40W fast charging, and a Kirin 980 chipset powerful enough to rival every other flagship. That’s not even mentioning the Pixel-rivalling triple-camera setup.

One downside is that it will have limited connectivity on CDMA networks, but it’s unlocked and equipped with Bands 2, 3, 4, 5, and 17, so reception on GSM carriers should be fine. At under $470, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro is an incredible bargain. Check out the deal below.

It has been dropping steadily, but as far as I know, this is the lowest it's gone! Renewed models aside, anyway.

Awesome deal for an incredible, powerful, feature rich smartphone. I’m happy to own one. I actually like the cameras on the Mate 20 Pro better than P30 Pro and Mate 30 Pro due to the type of sensors used.

Mate 20 Pro drops its selling price deeper than Mate 20 X. I personally prefer Mate 20 X

I think you can do much better for $400 than a Huawei phone especially given the current situation with Huawei being backed by the Chinese government. As a phone, it's not really anything that you won't find on a far superior OnePlus device outside of their mediocre cameras. The design language of this phone just screams Samsung ripoff.

What device at $400 is on par with this? Has cameras better than this? OnePlus smartphones, while great and far better than some other flagship smartphones like Googles Pixels, which have screamed iPhone ripoff since their inception, do not have as complete a package as Huawei’s Mate 20 Pro, and definitely not at this price. And should foreigners not buy smartphones from U.S. companies because they have backdoors for rue U.S. government?

I haven't used the new OnePlus, but assume it's pretty rad. However, I've had this phone since launch day and it is just as zippy as my Samsung Note 10+. The camera on the 10+ is sometimes better, sometimes worse than this one. But at this price, I think this phone is a no brainer for someone buying in this price range. So many features baked in. It's amazing.

Is there a reason why this site don't post about used phones? I got an excellent condition iPhone 11 off gazelle two weeks ago for $530 during their 10% off deal. They now have 10% off the 8 and 10 series iPhones
