Sandwiched between the March announcement of those largely iterative second-gen AirPods and the recent release of the completely redesigned AirPods Pro, it feels like Apple's Beats Powerbeats Pro didn't quite get the attention they deserved in the increasingly crowded "hearables" space.

That may have something to do with the decidedly sporty and arguably nichey design of these particular true wireless earbuds, as well as a somewhat excessive $250 starting price. While you can obviously learn to live with the fitness-friendly looks of the Powerbeats Pro... or not, there are actually a number of ways to save quite a bit of money, which might encourage you to favor these bad boys over their "mainstream" Apple-branded "cousins."

By far the greatest deal yet comes from Best Buy, which previously matched Amazon's decent $50 discount on brand-new units in a wide range of paint jobs, now going 50 bucks lower as far as refurbished products are concerned. That's right, you can currently pay as little as $149.99 for a pair of Beats Powerbeats Pros in a black color only, and although you're technically looking at pre-owned headphones here, they should be pretty much as good as new from both a functionality and cosmetic standpoint.

While the listing doesn't explicitly mention this, most Geek Squad certified refurbished products come with a 90-day warranty, so we see no reason why you shouldn't expect to get at least that with these substantially marked-down wireless earbuds. At 150 bucks, they're still costlier than brand-new Samsung Galaxy Buds or Echo Buds units, undercutting however the second-gen AirPods with a wireless charging case included.
